Let me introduce you to Sabrina: the espresso tender. Sabrina was designed for coffee tastings and business meetings. This space invites you to try new blends of coffee or host business meetings while travelling to different destinations.

Sabrina is a tender designed for the mothership Fade by Schwalgien design. To create a connection between the mothership and Sabrina, shapes and angles found in the layout of Fade has been incorporated into the floor plan.

angled details
The Fade angle is recurrent in different areas and details throughout the space, reinforcing the connection to the mothership.

The angles are seen in both the layout of the space and in the bespoke furniture.
room divider
design element
The room divider acts as an art piece as well as separating the different areas of the tender. Depending on the hour of the day the sun will pass through the metal mesh and create smoke-like shadows - reminiscent of a cup of hot coffee.
When daylight hits the metal mesh smoke-like shadows will be created throughout the space.
wall art
The art piece is inspired by waves and smoke - enhancing the idea of having a hot cup of coffee at sea. The grazing light creates dramatic effects. It is designed to highlight the main chair of the space and create a type of hierarchy to the different areas.
